Progress to Date - Our Journey So Far

To date, we have developed some CAD models for the overall design of our product, tested the motors we are planning on using to actuate the locking mechanism for each pixel, and created a in-progress process flow for interacting with our device.

Various tests were conducted with sample motors and stepper motor drivers to confirm proper operation, control, and wiring setups.

Software flowchart:

The user control software for our system is designed to allow users with multiple different ways to control the platform. From individual pixel manipulation to full map renditions, there should be simple ways for a user to manipulate our device to achieve their desired terrain layout.
